LLOYDMINSTER ¨C The shared Âé¶¹Ó³» and Saskatchewan Health Authority project to relocate and expand renal dialysis services in the community has completed the design phase and is expected to move into construction later this year.
This project will involve local renal dialysis services moving from Lloydminster Hospital to the Community Services Building at 3830 43 Ave. This location will open with six stations and will have the potential to expand to up to nine stations as future patient needs arise. Five stations are currently operating at the hospital.
The dialysis project has received $4.25 million in funding from the Âé¶¹Ó³» government¡¯s Rural Health Facilities Revitalization Program. The Lloydminster Regional Health Foundation plans to provide support as well.
Âé¶¹Ó³» and the Saskatchewan Health Authority will continue to update the community as further details about this project become available.
