Âé¶¹Ó³» (AHS) will temporarily open COVID-19 pediatric immunization walk-in appointment times to provide additional opportunities for families with children aged five to 11 who they wish to be vaccinated against COVID-19
COVID-19 vaccines are safe, effective, and a critical way to limit the spread of COVID-19 and protect against severe illness and hospitalization.
From March 2 to 16, several AHS vaccination clinics will accommodate pediatric walk-ins and appointments. To find an AHS clinic with extended hours and walk-in appointments, visit: ahs.ca/vaccine.
Pharmacies with extended hours and experience vaccinating children will also administer pediatric vaccine to children. To find a pharmacy offering COVID-19 vaccinations for children, visit .
Parents and guardians can continue to book appointments for children age five and older online by using the Âé¶¹Ó³» vaccine or by calling 811.
Parents or guardians are asked to bring their child¡¯s Âé¶¹Ó³» Health Care card if they have one as well as identification that proves the child¡¯s age. Both parents and children age two and older will be required to wear a face mask and use hand sanitizer when visiting the site for your immunization.
If a parent or guardian cannot be in attendance for the appointment and the child is under 18 years of age, a consent form can be signed and provided.
