New online tool to help Âé¶¹Ó³»­ns understand health system

CALGARY ¡ª The first module of Healthcare 101 ¨C a new online information series ¨C is now available to help people who live in Âé¶¹Ó³»­ better understand their health system.

The first module, Healthcare Basics for Âé¶¹Ó³»­ns, is now available on the MyHealth.Âé¶¹Ó³»­.ca website. This module focuses on putting Âé¶¹Ó³»­¡¯s healthcare system into perspective and outlining the foundation and partners of our healthcare system, including government and non-government organizations, services and resources.

Healthcare 101 is a collaborative project. Throughout the design process of the first module, citizens, organizations and departments within Âé¶¹Ó³»­ were engaged to contribute input and feedback. Future modules will be developed and once complete, Healthcare 101 will help Âé¶¹Ó³»­ns better navigate the healthcare system and take a more active role in their healthcare journey.
