eSIM? (Educate, Simulate, Innovate, Motivate) is a provincial simulation program under the Quality & Healthcare Improvement portfolio in Âé¶¹Ó³»­. Simulation is an educational technique in which clinical events are recreated to engage individuals, teams, systems and communities in an interactive, immersive and meaningful ¡°real-world¡± experience, often through self-reflection and guided facilitation.

  • eSIM will be leaders in healthcare simulation in order to promote best practice, prevent harm, and enhance quality of care.
  • eSIM¡¯s goal is to lead simulation along the continuum of care within AHS by enhancing patient, workforce, system, and performance outcomes.
  • eSim embodies Quality, Safety, Impact, Mentorship, Accessibility, and Interprofessional Collaboration.

Âé¶¹Ó³»­ SimPosium 2025 ¨C October 7 & 8, 2025

Join us for Âé¶¹Ó³»­¡¯s premiere healthcare simulation event, where innovation meets inspiration. Whether you're a seasoned simulation professional or just diving into the world of healthcare simulation, this year's SIMposium has something for everyone. The theme for the conference is Under the SIMfluence: Shaping the Future of Healthcare Simulation. It will highlight the profound impact of simulation-based education¡ªshaping how we train, collaborate and innovate to improve patient care and healthcare systems.
