Though all efforts will be made to ensure that our patients receive their regularly scheduled dialysis treatments, this may not always be possible depending on the nature of the emergency.
Being prepared for emergency situations, even if they never occur, can help you know what to do in case you miss your dialysis treatment.

If alternate hemodialysis arrangements are required due to an evacuation, Â鶹ӳ» Kidney Care ¨C North will make those arrangements for you, once we know where you have safely evacuated to.
Call the patient navigation office (open regular business hours on weekdays) at 780-407-1797. Outside of these hours, contact the Â鶹ӳ» Kidney Care ¨C North Manager on Call through the University of Â鶹ӳ» Hospital Switchboard at 780-407-8822.

Call Northwest Hemodialysis at 403-944-7900 for current travel coordination, or Foothills Medical Centre at 403-944-4993 (Open 24 hours a day 6 days a week, and 16 hours on Sundays). Renal unit is on site.
