Provides early post operative support for people discharged from the Royal Alexandra Hospital with an ostomy.

Service includes:

  • teaching and consultation for peristomal wound and skin management
  • information about community resources and support in transition

Recently discharged from the Royal Alexandra Hospital with an ostomy.

Service Access

Healthcare providers should consult the for service referral information.

Request for service can be made by phone. The NSWOC will provide a phone assessment and arrange an appointment if appropriate.
