Family to Family Connections

Family to Family Connections helps connect families to other families who have personal experience with a child who has a similar health condition or disability.

Family Peer Mentor Volunteers are trained to provide:

• one to one peer support to families experiencing a new diagnosis, an upcoming procedure
• other events related to a child's health concern or disability

The Family Peer Mentors are:

• parents who are available to listen
• share their experiences
• direct people to information and resources that have been helpful to them
• trained and are vetted through AHS Volunteer Resources, Â鶹ӳ»­ Children's Hospital

The Family Peer Mentors do not give medical advice. Connections are monitored by the F2FC Coordinator who is available to address any questions and provide ongoing support.
