PFO referral for Stroke indiciation must come from Stroke Neurology TEE and 48 hour holter monitor are required testing. ASD referrals are recieved from PLC congenital clinic.

Healthcare providers should consult the for service referral information.

PFO requires referral initiated by neurology at the 1 month follow up appointment post cryptogenic stroke.

ASD referral is initated by Congenital Heart clinic

Consider Nickel allergy testing if history of allergic reactions to jewelry, metal buttons Dermatology

Wait times for consult can be up to 3 months. Wait times for a TAVI procedure are currently 3-6 months but are triaged regularly throughout the wait. Urgent patients will be done first. Wait times for other structural heart procedures is 6-12 months after your work up is complete.
