Offers care for people who are in the final stages of life-ending illnesses (palliative care). Requires a diagnosis of a life limiting illness with 3 months or less to live.

Provides palliative care for people who are in the final stages of life-ending illnesses and support for their families.

Services include:

  • managing pain
  • helping with daily living activities (personal care)
  • emotional, psychological and spiritual support

  • a life expectancy of less than 3 months
  • signed a form saying they do not want to be resuscitated
  • a need to be in a bed or chair most of the time
