Outpatient Dysphagia Clinic

 Location: South Health Campus

This is the Central Triage Department for Outpatient Dysphagia Clinic. The Outpatient Dysphagia Clinic (ODC) provides assessment, recommendations and education to adults 18 years of age and older who are suspected or have oropharyngeal dysphagia.

Services:

  • Clinical assessment of oropharyngeal dysphagia
  • Fiberoptic endoscopic evaluation of swallowing (FEES)
  • Videofluoroscopic swallowing study (VFSS)-radiographic procedure
  • Recommendations to primary care provider or specialist
  • Same day education and/or brief exercise prescription

Patients must be 18 years or older.

Service Access

Healthcare providers should consult the for service referral information.

Application and registration required, by appointment only.

Referrals MUST come from a health care professional (i.e. physicians, Nurse Practitioner, SLP & dietitian).
