Â鶹ӳ»­ Aids to Daily Living Program

Assesses people with a chronic health problem or life-ending illness for funding from the Â鶹ӳ»­ Aids to Daily Living (AADL) Program for basic medical equipment and supplies.

This Government of Â鶹ӳ»­ funded program assesses people for funding for benefits like wheelchairs, walkers, bathing equipment, wound supplies, and compression stockings.

Not all locations offer full service.

Service Access

Call for an appointment for an assessment. A prescription from a doctor is needed for some benefits.


Wait Times

Referrals are on a first-come, first-served basis.

Fees

If eligible, AADL is a cost-share program. Clients pay 25% of the cost up to maximum of $500 per family per benefit year (July 1 to June 30).

Low-income families can apply for cost exemption. Clients are 100% responsible for any upgrades.
