Geriatric Day Hospital

A multi-disciplinary team provides outpatient, short-term, goal-oriented assessment, treatment, and rehabilitation for older adults who live in the community.

Program includes:

  • Seated exercise, social activities, health promotion and education, and individualized treatment
  • Educates and facilitates community engagement as needed

Eligibility

Ages 65 years and older.

Referral Needed

Direct referral service. Referral forms can be found on Carewest web site under community programs. Anyone can refer.

Wait Times

An estimated wait time will be provided at the time of appointment booking.

Fees

The only cost to the program is for Access Calgary. If this is the mode of transport then costs apply.
